The father’s setback (a failed run for president in '68) wounded the son. Mitt Romney has called his father the “the definition of a successful human.” The centerpiece of the current Romney campaign bus is a large poster of the elder Romney.

Gore had a father that raised him to be nothing less than POTUS. It apparently didn't matter what Al wanted. I think it damaged Al beyond measure - it clogged his chakras. I think a man should respect and love his father, but Al and Mitt may have a problem.
