Romney and his Achilles’ heel

Just saw a Romney supporter on the news.  She said RomneyCare is completely different from ObamaCare.

One requires an individual citizen to buy a commodity as a condition of living and breathing in the federal territory of the U.S.

One requires an individual citizen to buy a commodity as a condition of living and breathing in the state  territory of  Massachusetts.

So it's OK for a totality of government intrusion into your life, but only if it is the right level of government?

Not for me - I don't want any government, at any level, making the kind of life decisions that will be made.  I don't suddenly think it's fine if it's the city council of Grand Junction.  I've seen those bozos in action (apologies to any working clowns).

Any politician who would support and craft such a program just because the citizens in his state "wanted it" is a dangerous person. Leaders are supposed to explain why some wants are folly.

  1. I'll vote Republican, no matter what. I WILL NOT throw the election to Obimbo by voting for a third (or fourth or sixth) party. However, I AM disappointed and disgusted that all the GOP could give me is an Obama-lite... so far (miracles never cease.)

  2. M4e,

I agree with what you say and will play with the hand that I'm delt. No matter which contender, although none are optimal, any of them will trump what we have had to endure, not to mention what the "Messiah" would try to do to us as a "lame duck". Anybody who shares these fears of and/or disdain for our Fraud-In-Chief but stays home, because of lack of a 'perfect' candadate, does no more than give the 'Fraud' a vote! Anyone who runs on or supports a, so called,Conservitive 3rd Party ticket is nothing short of a criminal;rhetorically speaking, of course!
