The goose is cooked

Sarah Palin:
"I think that the Democrats there understand that the president’s no-show represents the fact that Obama’s goose is cooked," former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) said on FOX News shortly after Scott Walker was declared winner of the recall election.

Ed Schultz
You know, NBC is calling it for Walker. Okay, I think it's awful close and there's a lot of absentee ballots yet that are still out and it's going to be very, very close down to the wire" MSNBC's Schultz said. (He said this when NBC was showing it 60/40 for Walker - the libs really do live in fantasy land.)

"Certainly it is not the end and it's going to be an opportunity for the progressive movement to regroup nationally and understand exactly what they are up against," a teary-eyed Schultz lamented.

  1. I never watch MSNBC (as in NEVER). But last night I had to watch just for the schadenfreude. Even after Barrett's concession speech some WI Democrat was saying that "sometimes these projections are wrong and this might come down to the wire." Then Rachel Maddow reported that the massive turnout was due to energized Democrat voters who just couldn't bring themselves to unseat a duly elected governor. Simply delusional!

  2. The libs have been living in a fantasy so long it has become their reality. Even when the real reality slaps them in the face they refuse to recognize it/

  3. From The New York Times:

"In exit polling of voters, 18 percent of Walker supporters said they favored Mr. Obama, and the president led in a matchup against Mr. Romney. Voters in the exit surveys also said they saw Mr. Obama as better equipped to improve the economy and help the middle class."

Assuming that these "Walker supporters" took into account Walker's record of debt reduction and increased employment, RECORD being the operative word, how can they hold such an antithetical thought? What gives here? Gains made in places such as Wisconsin will have little or no positive effect(s) if B.O. is given four more years to complete his path of destruction of the Nation, at large!
