Perspective

From
REMEMBERING THE VICTIMS OF this month’s massacre in Chicago.“A mass murder like Aurora, Colorado, naturally grabs the headlines and attention, as it should. A presidential recognition of the murders is appropriate. Yet more than twice as many people have been murdered this month in the president’s hometown of Chicago than were killed in the Aurora shooting. They are just statistics for whom there will be no presidential visits or flags flown at half staff.”
And Glenn Reynolds
Well, since Chicago already has very strict gun control, these deaths can’t be turned to political use.

  1. If a political machine can cram a Bam like figure down our throats I think it is entirely possible that it could produce an horrific shooting event like we recently had here in Colorado. This latest event is in fact just the most recent bizarre shooting situation over on the Eastern Slope. (the back range). There could be a correlation to the fact that the East side of the Continental Divide has become infested and infected by liberals. Said infestation coming soon to a Mesa County near you.

  2. "gun control"

Chicago is a grand example of the fact that "guns" are NOT what is out-of-control! Also consider: How is "gun control" working out in Washington D.C.?

  3. How did an out of work, out of school guy on the skids come up with about $20 thou worth of tactical gear/ammo and explosives in a couple of months time... plus rent and eats money? I've got the same weapons (tactical shotgun, two Glocks and an AR-15 plus ammo) and it's taken me about ten years to accumulate. I ain't starving, but ALL my credit cards have limits on 'em. I must be doing something wrong!
