Obama: If there is even one life saved

The mother (in Atlanta) saved three lives, hers and her twin sons' by firing five shots at an intruder.

"if there’s even one life that can be saved, we’ve got an obligation to try." We must require every citizen 18 and up to own a gun for protection.

    Thanks for the different perspective on what has become platitude: "If it saves only one life" and "it's for the children". I think that liberals would be hard pressed to refute the leading quote in this comment. GOOD JOB!

  3. Nothing--absolutely nothing--that was proposed today would interfere with any law-abiding citizen's right to own a gun or use it in self-defense. As far as requiring everyone older than 18 to own one? Are you guys nuts?
