Coverage

(Some) Media Acknowledge Blowing Gosnell Story, Pledge Extensive Coverage

An open letter to Jay Seaton, publisher of the Sentinel.

Jay Seaton (jay.seaton@gjsentinel.com)
A recent search of terms on the Sentinel site returned 8 pages for "Newtown". Not one story about Kermit Gosnell.

It's not an insignificant story.  Gosnell might be the worst serial killer in history, says … “Nightline” anchor.

If you want people to turn to the Sentinel for news, you have to actually print the news.

UPDATE:  I heard from Mr. Seaton.  He sent a PDF file of an AP story the Sentinel printed March 21, 2013.

One story.

Three weeks ago.

The trial is currently in the fifth week.

  1. The Sentinel brings us some local information, but everyone sees it as "rubber-stamp" news, reliable cliff notes of the day.

  2. Wow - I guess you got told by Mr Seaton.. The Senile is on it. Everything you could possibly want to know...All the news that's fit to print... or that fits the bias....

  3. The Senile is a communist pinko rag. To me not worth having delivered and certainly not worth linking to on the web.

  4. The senile is a pinko rag:? Surely you jest. It tilts pretty far to the wingnut side if you ask me.
