Defense Rests
In a surprise move, the defense in the Kermit Gosnell murder trial has rested without calling a single witness.
Who could defend what he did?

  1. Ok maybe just a bit of attempted humor.

Who name their son Kermit? Is that not some kind of a frog?

  2. His behavior is indefensible, but to call no witness declaring he's a good man who has donated to the United Way? He must have a friend somewhere. Maybe it is setting up for appeal. Usually if no defense is offered, it is because the prosecution has no case. That is not what is happening here. Is he punting down field, hoping for better circumstances with the appeal?
