The return of civilization

My wife has just returned from a three week trip to Scotland.  Her interest in knitting, wool, and fiber arts led her to a tour of all that in the northern isles.

It's good to have her back.  Women do have a civilizing effect.  It might be possible (OK it is) to cook pieces of  sausage, onion, and tomato in a pan; and the stir in eggs, cheeses and herbs; and the eat the ersatz frittata straight out of the pan.  It's possible, it's easy, but it is not civilized.

Some pictures of the wife's trip here:

  1. What? No Shetland sheep dogs?

  2. ooPs posted this in the wrong place.

What is not civilized is what you (or I) do once all the pans are dirty.
