The good end for the big easel

Back at the beginning of August, I put up a post  about a big easel I had knocked together for an art project.

My wife Nancy was working on a triptych with each panel measuring three feet by two feet. Total painting area was three feet by six feet, with an additional working area to separate the panels.

The painting is finished.  Nancy did such a nice job on the painting and her post about the project that I just cross-posted the whole thing.  Here it is.

"The Path" for Church Sanctuary

The husband was helpful not only in putting together a large easel for this project, but also in finding appropriate scriptures for this painting journey.  Each panel is 24" x 36".  Three panels together equals 6 feet in width by 3 feet in height.  A foot of negative space on the wall between panel will make the project 8 feet in width.  All panels were painted in acrylics.  "The Path" will be displayed for the autumn portion of Ordinary Times in the liturgical calendar of the church.

  1. I agree with Tom, it is a beautiful piece of work.
It is sure to bless many people, to provoke them to greater understanding of the walk with God and therefore to increase their trust.
Thanks for posting it here, otherwise I'm sure I'd have never seen it.
