Twelfth Day

Twenty-fourth year

It's worth repeating...

Today is the Twelfth Day of Christmas. It is the traditional end of the Christmas season. The day is also known as the "Feast of the Epiphany". Various church traditions celebrate the Incarnation of Jesus Christ, and include the commemoration of: his birth; the visit of the Magi, who arrived in Bethlehem; all of Jesus' childhood events, up to and including his baptism in the Jordan by John the Baptist; and even the miracle at the Wedding of Cana in Galilee.

In secular use, it means the sudden manifestation or perception of the essential nature or meaning of something

It is also my wedding anniversary. One of life’s gifts is a happy marriage, better even than twelve drummers drumming.
